Chiswick House is one of the most glorious examples of 18th century British architecture, few entrances are as grand. Two graceful stone staircases lead directly into the Domed Saloon which lies at the very heart of this wonderful house while a Palladian style originally pioneered in Britain by Inigo Jones, has been created in the kind of villa and garden found in the suburbs of ancient Rome. The Classical gardens are a perfect complement to the house!
