The elegant ballroom provides a wonderful setting for your celebrations. An equivalent of a state room, the ballroom has remarkable décor; a gilded ceiling, linen fold wood panelling and access to a scenic patio area. Its reception area, the Billiard Room, was originally a chapel, as can be seen by the feature stone archway and high, beamed ceiling. The ballroom caters for up to 86 guests for your wedding banquet and 200 for your evening reception.
The Drawing Room, a beautiful wood panelled space with two large bay windows and a huge ornate fireplace, will seat up to 80 in comfort. The music room, an ideal space for your evening reception, offers views over the front lawns of the mansion. The Ante-Room, which annexes both, is a delightful area with a beautifully decorative stained glass roof and is perfect as a reception area for guests..
The oak-panelled library is a wonderfully warm, comfortable room with a large decorative fireplace, ornate plaster ceiling and is lined with fine oak bookshelves. It is licensed for civil ceremonies and will seat up to 75 people – a unique setting for this special occasion.
We offer a unique flexible solution for larger celebrations. With 6 acres of grounds, we can accommodate and cater for wedding parties of up to 400 guests in a marquee that can be hired on your behalf. Talk to us about your requirements, and we’ll do the rest!
